"Tama ba decision natin?" I asked Joel. He just looked at me then.

That was Tuesday night, July 10. We were riding a tricycle heading for LRT Abad Santos Station at around 8:15 in the evening. The rain was pouring hard, there were lightnings and thunders and Rizal Avenue were already flooded. All because of Transformers!

Transformers!? You say? Yep, Transformers, the movie. And it’s all worth it.

I’m not a fan of them during my childhood. I get to watch only once or twice, if I ever watched at all. We’ve been hearing about the movie but I am not interested, aside from the fact that I thought it was animated. I only had an idea that it’s not a cartoon movie when a saw the trailer. And that was already a few days after the movie has started showing in theaters.

We decided to watch it on the Sunday of its second week. Apparently we weren’t able because Joel caught fever on the night before. Disappointed, I found myself looking for trailers in Yahoo, which after watching made me wanted more to watch the movie on the big screen.

Came Tuesday, Nanay arrived at around noon. I asked immediately if she was going to stay overnight. She agreed to stay with Matt while we were out. I texted Joel instantly and we planned as to what time and where we would watch.

Rain started pouring at around 4pm. By the time Joel arrived, R. Papa area were already flooded. That was around 6:30pm. We had three viewing time options, 6:50, 8:00 and 8:50 pm.

It was past eight already and the rain hasn’t stopped yet. We can’t leave because Matt is still awake, maybe he sensed that we’re going somewhere. Joel has to sing him lullabye first so he could get to sleep. We managed to leave after a few more minutes, tiptoeing.

The rest is history. Riding a tricycle, taking the LRT, riding the jeep. Just to get to SM Tayuman before the 8:50 show time. I told Joel while at the train, "wish ko lang papasukin tayo ng guard, pamasahe pa lang magkano na, para lang makapanood!"

And it’s all worth it. Ang kinis ng graphics! :D. The main factor I consider to appreciate movies with computer effects.

Although Joel’s comments were like, "Baril si Megatron, hindi some kind of an aircraft or something" or "Bumble Bee is supposed to be a kotseng kuba" or "Shockwave or Soundwave (whoever is it) is not a boombox!" What the hell! I never knew any of them anyway! :P

What matters most is I enjoyed the movie, amazed with the fight scenes and loved the graphics! (Considering what we’ve been through just to watch the film, the least we should expect is to enjoy the movie heheheh :P)
