Matt’s celebrated his one & a half year old last Saturday, June 30, 2007. Time really flies, and it does fly so fast, he’s halfway on his 2nd birthday already.

He’s mastered his walking and running by this time. Loves play, play, play. Super kulit, pasaway na, displaying different funny antics, hyper magmaktol. Screaming loud & crying hard whenever he doesn’t get what he wants.

Matt’s pronouncing words in Japanese already, heheheh, can’t find the right words to say! Some of the well spoken words are "mama", "bayabas" & "bubbles" and the not so well includes "bas" (out of the box), "daper" (diaper), "dada" (daddy), "mam" (drink). Action songs include "Head & Shoulders, Knees & Toes", "I Have Two Hands", "Eency Weency Spider". "Jollibee Beeda ang Saya" is an addition to the "Itaktak Mo" and "Boom Tarat Tarat" choreographies.

Aside from his fully emerged six pairs of front teeth, the others are now slowly popping up his gums. His fave foods now include hotdogs, maling, fried tilapia or bangus, sinigang, sayote, carrots, potatoes and the best ever fried or breaded chicken! He’s still into gummy candies, sour spaghetti, gulaman, taho with sago, frootees biscuits, pasencia. Loves ice cold drinks, cold water, occassionally iced tea or soda and the all time favorite — milk!

Matt’s very adventurous now and learning how to eat on his own, holding his glass by himself while drinking, exploring how to handle & use pens. He now can get in & out of his toy car with wheels on his own. He’s also taking the risk in going up & down the stairs!

How time really flies! We’ve never imagined how he would grow so fast. Aside from his being makulit, he’s still amusing. One time I was so mad at him and while wide eyed disciplining him he stared at me upwards and smile slowly as if he’s doing nothing for me to be so furious! "Hay … Matthew!" is only I can say. Then my anger is gone! But I still had to say, "Hindi porke natutuwa ako sa ‘yo, tama ‘yung ginawa mo ha???" Heheheh.
