matt’s first special holidays .. happenings, events, parties:

dec24th - visited karuhatan relatives, gave gifts, share foods

dec25th - spent christmas day in kalookan, ramirez cousins & relatives visited, played kiddie games with cousins wearing santa’s bonnet, exchanged gifts, food & drinks

dec26th - went malling in MOA, postponed dolphin show viewing =(, lunched out with the matuses

dec28th - start of the 3-day stay in karuhatan for the big 1st year event, bought groceries for the party

dec29th - went shopping, food preparations, venue decorations

dec30th - party, party, party!!! ramirez & matus clans, relatives, friends, former classmates joined matt on his 1st bday celebration, pix, food & drinks, chikka-chikka, reunions, post-christmas gift givings ..

dec31st - matt’s first birth anniversary, attended mass, opened gifts, after-party-mess clean-up, went back home in kalookan, matt’s first new year eve (at this moment 10pm, matt’s sleeping :D) also, me & my_dear’s first new year eve celebration in the 3-new-year-eves of our married life (confused? PM me :p .. it’s a long story heheh!), to celebrate, mag-iinom daw kame heheh! finger-foods & chips for pulutan & turbo broiled chicken courtesy of matt’s ninong plus chikkahan/kulitan, plans for 2007 & some must-haves, must-bes & must-dos :p

another firsts .. first plane trip (yep, believe it!) .. first visayan province to visit .. first 3 day hotel stay .. first time to see eversun in iloilo .. first time to meet the rest of the promet team .. first opportunity to see personally andy with tj ..

rachel & i went to iloilo to meet the rest of the promet team with andy, the client, and tj, his partner .. we met at the domestic airport on the morning of the 13th .. we’re both excited because it’s our first time to take a plane .. we both encountered different strange situations .. san ka ba naman nakakita ng ensaymada & iced tea in a bottle amounting to 100pesos? .. sa airport lang naman! .. next time never buy anything inside the airport .. stuffs are priced like gold .. heheh ..

we arrived iloilo at around 10:30 .. donna & hannah .. both member of the QA team were there to pick us up .. we headed directly to the hotel (Sarabia Manor) where a function room is reserved .. this is where the promet "conference" will be held .. we also get to meet andy & tj, in the hotel already ..

conference took place along with a great late lunch .. team members were introduced .. plans & objectives were laid out .. changes & improvements of company procedures were discussed .. talks, meetings, chats, jokes, fun, food, plus an ipod shuffle courtesy of our santa claus clients ..

2nd day .. client’s last day in iloilo .. food, presentations, talks, chats, discussions, questions & answers, food again .. andy & tj, tasted the balut .. heheh .. tasted, they can’t eat the whole duck .. everybody had fun ..

3rd day .. few hours of work at the iloilo office .. sleepy .. went to SM Iloilo .. lunch at "Mang Inasal" .. bought some pasalubong .. by 3pm we’re with DS getting back to the hotel to get some stuffs & then proceeded back to the airport for our 5pm flight back to Manila .. met Joel at the arrival area at around 7pm ..

twas great meeting the rest of the promet team .. the guys i get used to work with but not seeing & meeting personally .. the trip all turned out fun & exciting with lots of food, talks, chats & kulitans ..

part 2 on june next year? hopefully …

yep, 1 month na lang 1 year na c matt .. accompanied by his 11th month is his 2 front teeth .. with matching kalikutan, kakulitan, ka-pasaway-an, kacute-an, kaartehan at sangkaterbang nakakatuwa-nakakainis-nakakatawang antics! .. still likes music & eating .. still mastering his standing & walking alone .. iyakin :(( .. loves labas, as in LABAS, ng room, ng bahay, ng gate, in short, "GALA!"

now, with "Manang" around .. lagi na namin kasama c matt .. so all his developments, tantrums, kaartehan, kakulitan ay well-monitored na .. he’s gaining more weight, eating & sleeping a lot!

next month .. birthday nya na! .. parang kelan lang …….
